I like Kanye West, I really do. And I like his music too. But I’m not buying into all the crap that’s being written about Runaway, his new short film which some commentators are describing as “genius” and “a work of art.”

You’d think Kanye was the new Martin Scorsese or Quentin Tarantino the way people are going on. He’s not even the new Michael Jackson, so let’s not kid ourselves or make his ego grow any larger.

Runaway is OK, but most of it is pretentious crap that could only have come from the mind of someone who keeps getting told how brilliant he is, even if the people doing the brown-nosing are lackeys paid for doing just that.

Watch Runaway by all means. Some of you will like it, others will not. But let none of us go over the top about how it makes Kanye some sort of second coming. Because he’s not. He’s a rapper, and a singer, and a celebrity. And that is all.

While this video is SFW, it isn’t suitable for anyone who is eating or who has just eaten, has a bad reaction to seeing other people vomit, or who doesn’t like rollercoasters and theme park rides.

Still, it is amusing in a sick way.

There’s no mystery here, and nothing really to explain.

This lady is on a theme park ride and really doesn’t feel well. You can see it etched all over her face. And before long you get to see the lunch she just ate all over her face and the bodies of the poor people sitting alongside her.

The worst thing for us watching is the waiting. You know full well she’s going to puke, but you don’t quite know when. What’s amazing is how happy she looks afterwards; she actually enjoys the rest of the ride post-vomit. But I think the kids preferred it pre-vomit.

47 -year-old Steve Wozniak, a lure fisherman from California, has traveled the world over, in his quest to catch as many different species of fish as possible. So far he managed to catch 1,000 species, from a colorful Threadfin Butterflyfish to a 410 kilogram shark.
Believe it or not, Steve Wozniak has spent the last 10 years, and $75,000 traveling to 63 different countries in the search for new species of fish to put on his list. He flew over 1 million air miles, and spent over 20,000 hours holding his trusty rod and hoping for a bite. But all his efforts paid out when he finally caught his 1,000th fish species, a Norwegian coalfish, and set a new world record.

After all, if you’re a poisonous sea snake or lion fish, chances are the other sea creatures are going to steer clear. I’m not quite sure what that running turkey get-up is in aid of, but it’s also pretty impressive!

Take one cute tiny tot dancing and you’ve got a fun, but not very memorable, video. Add a few adults busting out the same moves and you’ve got something special. When a dance is this catchy, you just have to join in!

This isn’t a sophisticated flash mob with slick dance moves, but it is a lot of fun. The unselfconscious way the little girl dances is mirrored by the adults who also enjoy letting loose.

This simple video is so enjoyable, if you don’t end up smiling once it’s done you’re probably not a fan of rainbows and puppies!

Grocery shopping is a necessary evil. No one really likes to do it, except perhaps this guy.

On realizing there was nothing in his fridge he decided to hit up his local No Frills store. All of that sounded fairly mundane though, so he decided to liven things up a little by dancing through the store.

With its pumping Scissor Sisters soundtrack and unselfconscious dance moves, it’s impossible to dislike this video. It’s the most delicious kind of nutty from a man who refuses to live inside the box.

Of course, it doesn’t seem like the most time efficient way to grocery shop as he only ends up with a few items of fresh produce at the end, but it does look like a lot of fun!

Bristol Palin can dance. And extremely well for that matter. She also appears to be quite down-to-earth and actually quite likable. All of which is very surprising.

However, the most surprising thing has to be that Bristol Palin is regarded as a “star” in any sense of the word. The show is called Dancing With The Stars after all.

Bristol Palin wowed the judges and the viewers with her Cha Cha on the first episode of Dancing With The Stars. Mainly because everybody thought she’d be absolutely atrocious and she wasn’t.

Having said that I can’t see her winning DWTS. A sizable portion of America will vote for her because they love Sarah Palin, but the majority will reject her like they rejected her mother as Vice President.

Two Dolphins Crash (Video) | Mid-Air Collision While Showing Off

Dolphins, which are supposedly the second-smartest creatures on the planet, can be seen doing a very dumb thing in this video.

You’d think that their echo-location abilities would enable them to sense other dolphins jumping around them.

After re-playing this video it occurred to me that it would be very possible if this “crash” was actually intentional. Bottle-nosed dolphins often hunt in packs and can kill sharks by ramming them, and an “accident” like this seems very planned.

This, of course, means that these two dolphins might be having a confrontation with each other. Sure, it seems a bit strange, but we humans are no different. If only the camera was water proof! I’d love to see a dolphin fight.

I think I may have stumbled upon the cutest dog in the world. What’s more, he’s a champion pool player, being able to clear the table in just a couple of minutes.

I don’t know what’s happening to me – I think I’m slowly becoming a dog lover. And all because of YouTube. Just so long as my cat doesn’t hear me saying so, or reads the Web over my shoulder.

I used to avoid videos featuring dogs like the plague. But I now cannot get enough of them. Yesterday we saw a husky singing a baby back to sleep, and today we have a pool-playing chihuahua.

I adore this dog, especially the way he makes funny noises while potting the balls. Sure, he potted the white and failed to call his shots before taking them, but you can’t have everything. It is a dog after all.

Life is depressing. But no problem is too big, no issue too complicated, that it can’t all be put into perspective by a video of a kitten eating a tiny ice cream.


Is it me or does life pretty much suck these days? I spend most of my time miserable, but maybe that is just me. But what with war, over-population, lack of affordable housing, and all the diseases that can kill you, it’s sometimes hard to stay positive.

But there is a solution, and it merely involved watching a cute (possibly the cutest) kitten eating a small ice cream cone while wearing a tiny hat, before it gets bored and wanders off.

I challenge you to watch this video and not feel even slightly better about yourself or life in general. Just don’t think about the fact that this kitten probably got kicked out on the street to fend for itself straight afterwards…

While many of us humans like to think that we’re the only animals with “a conscious” this video proves otherwise. After killing an adult baboon to eat, this wild leopard notices that a baby baboon is now left abandoned.

What happens next is sure to make your heart warm…well, at least for a minute.

The first thing that came to mind when viewing this clip was Disney. For some reason, I couldn’t help but think of movies like The Jungle Book and Tarzan where a baby is raised by wild animals. Seeing the same done for another wild animal is mind-blowing.

Of course, it isn’t a Disney movie so there has to be a realistic (and depressing) ending. As it turns out, the baby baboon eventually died of the cold.

Why, it’s enough to melt the heart of even the most curmudgeonly old git. Which is how I describe myself these days.

I’m not a big fan of dogs, preferring cats instead. Mainly because dogs can turn on you and are very capable of ripping your face off. Something which I’m aiming to avoid in my life.

However, this dog is a real sweetheart, standing by the cot as the youngest member of the household tries to sleep. When it starts crying instead the canine, which I think is a husky, sings the baby back to sleep.

This is real pack behavior, and the dog clearly knows his place in that pack. If all dogs were as nice and well-behaved as this one then maybe I’d be more of a fan.
